SET APART

I just wanted to be normal. Regular. To blend. To fit in. I don’t know if I wanted to be accepted, or just simply left alone. Either way, I wanted to fly under the radar and go unnoticed.

Most people who are set apart, different, unique, quirky, weird, or gifted have likely felt this way at one moment or another.

And I’m here to remind you: It’s okay to want to be accepted. It’s okay to want to be left alone. It’s okay to want to be normal.

But, I am also here to remind you: You are special. It will always be difficult to “fit in” when you are set apart.

Being different is not a curse. In my opinion, it’s a clue. A clue that God has a special role, a special mission, a special assignment, a special purpose and only a special person (a.k.a YOU) are qualified to complete or fulfill it.

Instead of struggling to be accepted by a world that will never accept you — embrace your differences and shine like the bright star you are!

But, by all means: Never. Dim. Your. Light.

All the peace and all the blessings to you.
Love Meg, Xo
